Last night I used that Revlon hair color and highlight kit and the coloring part turned my really light blonde hair purplish. The top looks good but the bottom is what changed. I hadnt done anything to my hair in over a year and a half and this was suposed to turn my hair a light brown color. What should I do?

tell the company what happened, say which color u bought and say what happened... they should give you somthing to turn it back to bright blond like it was and if they dont then send a pic of what hapened to ur hair..... they should fix everything.

use a hairstripper then dye it your natural haircolor.
then use a deep conditioning treatment afterwards.

Hate to say it, but that's going to be your only option is a color stripper. But this time go to a professional and get the color correction done. Your hair will turn orange from the stripper, but they will color it so that it looks normal.
Box colors are really not work the risk, they turned my mom's hair orange, thankfully for her she has a stylist for a daughter so she got her hair fixed for free. But it's going to cost you a pretty penny to get your hair color fixed.

I did the exact same thing. You can either go to a hair store like Sallys Beauty and get a color stripper kit and also fry your hair, or go to a hair colorist and let them help you.. I unfortunately did it myself and ended up frying my hair and burning loosing almost 1/3 of it

You didn't mention what shade you bought. You don't have to do anything to your hair for a long time. Unless you cut off the ends that will happen . Apparently your ends either A. had been previously lightened or colored in the last year and a half, or B. were damaged and needed cut. Damaged hair will grab color base. Get the ends cut.
