Dark brown hair trying to go blonde?

i dont have the money to go to the salon and pay to get it professionaly done. i tried bleaching it at home, but it remained dark brown..

is there anything i can use around the house that can make it go blonde?

actually..i dont even know if it would look right

i have blue/grey/green eyes, dark hair, and not pale, but not tanned skin, and my eyebrows are already basically blonde..

You'll have to go to a pro because you cant make dark lighter. They like drain the dark brown out so mehow than they put color in it.

Buy something at a store that sales bleaching products ....that will work. Since you have dark brown hair your probably gonna have to do it alot of times.

If you want to get blonde hair then you have to save up and go to a professional. My advice is to get a blonde weave, but not a heavy weave since you do have dark brown hair. It's well worth the money to get it done pro

try buying the blondest shade color so it'll work and i think blond will look great on you since you have the color of eyes you say you have so try it and remember blonds have more fun! lol

Continue to get highlights every six weeks or whenever you get your haircut; eventually your hair will become blonder and blonder. Its pretty risky to do such a dramatic change with home coloring kits or anything around the house, if it messes up, you will have to wait for it to grow out.

I had the same problem. My hair is blonde but i done the underneath black and it faded and went dark brown, i use a pre-lightener which isnt as strong as bleach but strips the colour out, it will probably go a strawberry blonde then use a normal pale blonde 2 go over it with. its better than bleach because pre-lightener is ment for just before u dye your hair so it wont damage as much.

Pre-lighteners are very cheap, if u live in uk then superdrug do one for about 鎷?.50 and they just brought out a new one for people with black hair! and that one will gaurantee to work! herbal essence or nice and easy summer blonde collection are the best blonde hair dyes :) hope this helped x
