From a guys point of view, I'd say shave it bro, women think bald men are sexy, so don't be afraid...I dont know what you look like, but hit the gym and get a lil swole and you wouldn't have a problem with the ladies...I hope whatever you do works out for you, but please, whatever you do, do not do the comb over....

if you look good bald, shave it off!! otherwise, keep a fairly short haircut. it will look thicker. and never never never comb over. yuck.
