.. it was suppose to be a light reddish brown, but my hair is grey now! What could I have possibly done wrong? I've dyed my hair before. Almost every month for 4 years. What can I do to fix it?

If you try to go too many shades lighter, it will turn grey. I would just try a darker color or have it professionally colored.

It turned grey because the stuff you buy at the store is crap! while it may have worked before it doesn't work everytime. Go get it fixed professionally. If you can't afford it go to your local beauty supply store and have them help you pick out a cute dark color and don't buy that sore junk ever again.

WOW, you don't dye your hair every month. You're supposed to wait 2 months or more, expecially if you're using permanate dye. And you're only supposed to keep re-doing your roots. You should go to the salon and get your hair stripped of all dye color. AND if you do that, you can't dye your hair for a while because its too much chemicals in your hair. But I am sure you don't want to be grey. So stay natural girl, you don't need dye.
